About Me

I’m a stage combat enthusiast and I love the internet. ::poof!:: A blog was born.

As for me, my name is Megan. I’ve choreographed and co-choreographed about a dozen shows, most of them Shakespeare,  including fights with broadswords, foils, fists, knives, spears, and that one with copper pipes and a 15-foot chain. The Society of American Fight Directors considers me qualified not to kill people with my bare hands, singlesword, quarterstaff, sword and shield, smallsword, and knife. After several years in New York City and a detour to southwest Ireland, I now live in Berkeley, California.

Forgive periods of silence! I try to post once a month, but life cuts into my blogging time.

This page lacks your name and contact information.

Thanks for the cool blog about stage combat, though!

Really awesome page, Megan. I laughed a lot on your “Seven Ways Stage Combat Prepared Me for Parenthood” page.
